NJ Garden Services is happy to report one of the busiest summers in its 14 year history. With a continuous increase in enquiries we are confident that the autumn and winter will be fully booked well in advance carrying us safley through to 2011. With the successful completion of the College power upgrade our technical experience is expanding and we can take on increasingly complex operations.

NJ Garden Services have been asked to take part in the Redbridge College in Romford, Essex power upgrade. We will excavate the cable trench across the car park and construct the sub station plinth. You can see the pictures of this very tricky operation on Facebook soon

We have successfully renewed our qualification as an approved member of Construction Line. This is means we have been pre-approved by their strict codes of conduct, health and saftey, enviroment and equal opportunities policy requirements.
Some organisations such as county councils or housing associations will only use Construction Line approved companies.

NJ Garden Services and Willows Link will have a stall at the Stevenage Carnival this summer on 6th June. Come down and meet us and look at the fantastic ride on lawn mowers and other garden machinery available on the market today. Also pick up a bargin with our special carnival prices.

NJ Garden Services has won the contract for the care of the inner gardens at Pricess Helena College for the third year. We are looking forward improving these important gardens further and restoring all the roses to their full potential.

NJ Garden Services is now refitting the workshop and opening up for retail business for sales in new garden machinery, saftey equitment, oils and chains, repairs and servicing of garden machinery domestic and professional. The public are welcome to come in for advice and service on ride on lawn tractors, hedge trimmers, mowers & strimmers. Contractors, we service chainsaws and wood chippers too. Tom Brown, our very experienced engineer will be pleased to assist you.

NJ Garden Services has completed the second stage of the re-instatement and landscaping of the recently developed data centre at Cavendish Rd for Fujitsu including the construction of a timber retaining wall and planting.

We now have ready our top class top soil product ready for sale. Completely sieved and blended with heavy soil, peat, sand and mature compost this rich pliable loamy soil is completely stone and debris free. Perfect for preparing an area to be turfed or filling borders.

NJ Garden Services has completed it's latest project, the re-instatement and landscaping of the recently developed Fujitsu site on Cavendish way. We import & export exchanged 200 tonnes of high quality for low quality top soil. Reshaped the reception embankment and laid over 900 meters of turf in time for their open day.

NJ Garden Services is soon to launch our range of cost effective small garden engined equipment sales. Chainsaws, mowers, hedge trimmers and strimmers for the occasional domestic use. We will also be maintaining a supply of spares for these tools so they can be repaired in the future. Something that is not really possible after purchasing from superstores. Details are coming soon and we will post the online catalogue just as soon as we have completed negotiations with our supplier.

We have been awarded the contract to rebuild a 225 metre stretch of the woodland road at Harmer green for the Herts County Scout movement.

We have completed the construction of Shephallbury primary school outdoor classroom area. This is a sandstone area with decking, custom made benches and planters. See the pictures and the video soon

Online Shrub Nursery Now Open
Our new on line shrub, tree and plant nursery is now operational. Although the pages are under construction and will continue to grow daily we are open to take orders even if you can't find what you want on the site, as long as you know the plants name we can place an order with the wholesalers. We are confident that we can hand deliver shrubs to the customer's home for less than you would pay at the garden centre. Our expert picker will take his time at the wholesalers to pick the best of available stock for you.

Workshop Now Open
Our new office and workshop in Marymead Industrial estate is now open and operational. You can now bring your garden machinery for service and repair. If you can't or dont want to put it in the car we can collect and return them for you.

New Workshop Launch date decided!
We are finally moving to our new office and workshop in Marymead Industrial estate at the end of October. We hope that the new workshop will be ready to take in mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers and other garden machinery for repairs, servicing and sharpening in time for the winter.
Don't wait til spring when everybody else wants their mowers serviced at the same time. Get it booked now, then your mower is ready for you on the first day you want to start the spring cutting.
