Operation Francis

As you can see even a mess like this can be transformed in a couple of days. The shed and deck frame is constructed. The job is completed with a nice ramp. Now its just waiting for the shed to be delivered.

Operation McDonald

This garden is just long grass and uneven ground. After removing all the grass a granite base is set down and compacted at the correct level. The natural stone patio is installed. Here Dave is cutting stones into shape with a diamond blade. The lawn is prepared and grass is laid.

Operation Allerdice

This small garden has a slope down to an old patio. Richard and Collin are going to install a low wall and step, then build a natural stone path and patio. Because of the impending hose pipe ban, the customer will wait until the Autumn to turf.

As you can see if you look carefully at the bottom left picture, drainage covers can be subtly lost in the patio using a recessed manhole cover tray. The stones are cut and laid as they would have been if the drain had not been there. On this occasion four different stones fell onto the drains position.

Operation Christie

A falling garden is to be brought up to level using 9 x 4 timber retainers

The garden slopes so the lawn isn't much use. A timber wall is constructed make the

whole garden level. Then we imported forty tons of Consolidator and top soil to fill the void.

The brick on edge footings are cut into shape and laid in cement.

Because the levels were changed all the existing drains had to be raised to match.

Fresh topsoil and quality turf is laid. Here you can see how Greg has made the drain vanish.
